Road Biking Trails in St George, Utah:

Snow Canyon
Snow Canyon features a beautiful 5.2 mile stretch that allows you to see the beautiful sandstone canyon and lava flows in the area. Don’t let the distance fool you because with over a thousand feet of elevation gain, this trail isn’t a walk in the park. It is well worth the work, and it’s the shortest route on our list.


Quail Creek Loop
The Quail Creek Loop takes riders on a scenic ride through quiet neighborhoods and winding roads from Quail Creek all the way to hurricane and back. Enjoy unmatched views of the pine valley mountain as you complete this 28 mile trail.
Kolob Reservoir
Kolob Reservoir will definitely get your adrenaline pumping. Filled with steep descents and sharp turns, you will be able to enjoy the red rock landscapes at frightening speeds. This 24 mile route allows for an absolutely incredible St George Biking experience.


Veyo Loop
The longest trail on our list, the Veyo Loop is a 43.5 mile loop that takes you through lava formations, scenic landscapes and beautiful lakes. This is one of our favorite routes because it allows riders to see a lot of the many different aspects of Southern Utah. It is moderately easy, and it can be a great adventure for riders of all abilities.
Zion Canyon Scenic Route
Explore the beauty of one of the most incredible National Parks in the country on the Zion Canyon Scenic Route. Riders will enter through the mouth of the canyon and enjoy a pleasant ride through the scenic road that takes guests through the national park. In the busier seasons, cars are not permitted in the canyon which also means less traffic on your ride. This is one of our favorite ways to explore the park.

Mountain Biking Trails in St George, Utah:
St George is known for its beautiful red rock formations and incredible landscapes. On their beautifully maintained trails, you can experience all of it first hand. Gooseberry Mesa
Gooseberry Mesa is an incredible beginner mountain bike trail in Southern Utah. Sitting just outside Zion National Park, this trail provides the closest experience to mountain biking inside the national park you can get! It is all relatively flat and only 10 miles out and back. Perfect for those looking for an easy mountain bike ride with beautiful views.


Prospector Trail
Known for its beautiful views and easy access, the Prospector Trail is an easy 6.9 mile out and back trail. The whole trail is relatively flat and takes riders on a beautiful tour of Southern Utah. Make sure to bring plenty of water because the shade is very limited throughout the ride.
Anasazi Trail
The Anasazi trail is a 6.5 mile out and back intermediate trail that takes you on a tour of the past. Here you will follow the Santa Clara river through pumpy rock sections. It provides you with a beautiful view of the Santa Clara Gorge as well as a number of ancient petroglyphs for visitors to see. Make sure to be respectful of the artifacts as they can be damaged very easily.


Green Valley
Also known as Bear claw Poppy, Green Valley mountain biking trail is a 7.8 mile single-track track trail from Green Valley to Bloomington. For many riders it feels more like a BMX course filled with exciting features and obstacles. If you’re looking for the perfect trail to improve your riding abilities, you’ve come to the right place.
Zen Trail
The Zen trail is absolutely spectacular. This 5.4 mile loop is one of the most well known mountain bike trails in Southern Utah. It is also one of the most challenging trails in the area. The steep climbs and obstacle navigation make you work to complete it, but it’s well worth the work. The flow and beauty of this trail make every moment here special.
